Who Are We?

Woodland Hills is simply a group of Christians who have fellowship with one another. God's Word speaks of many local groups of Christians: the church at Corinth (1 Cor. 1:2; 2 Cor. 1:1), various churches in the region of Galatia (Gal. 1:2), the Laodicean church (Col. 4:16), and the seven churches in Asia Minor (Rev. 2-3) just to name a few. This is what we seek to be!

Woodland Hills is simply a group of disciples who seek to follow Christ in every aspect of life. During his earthly ministry and through his inspired apostles, Jesus left us an example to follow (1 Pet. 2:21). Jesus said, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me" (Matt. 16:24). This is what we seek to do!

Because of these things, our goal is simple: study God's Word and live it in our lives! We allow God, through His inspired Word (cf. 2 Tim. 3:16), to direct the way we worship, the way we organize ourselves, the things we teach, and the things we do.

If we sound like a congregation you would like to know more about, we encourage you to utlize this website in order to learn more about us. We would love to tell you more about what we believe, explain who our members are, and introduce you to our elders, deacons, and evangelist.
